Average Maturity- A funds average maturity is the rupee-weighted average of the maturities of its fixed-income holdings.
Closed Ended Funds- Mutual funds in which entry and exit is limited to the stipulated time period. In case an investor wants to exit earlier, exit load is charged as penalty for early exit.
Expense Ratio- Percentage of fund assets paid for operating expenses and management expenses and all other asset based costs except brokerage fees.

Fund Inception Date- The date on which the fund began its operations.
Minimum Initial Investment- The smallest investment amount accepted for establishing a new account.
Net Assets- The total amount of assets held by the fund.
Net Asset Value- It is obtained by dividing the total net assets of the fund by the total number of units outstanding. If you are investing INR 1000 and the prevailing NAV is INR 10 and the entry load is 2.50%, then the effective NAV that you are investing at is INR 10.25 (10+2.5%*10) and you will be allotted around 97- units.
Standard Deviation- It is a measure of the variability of the fund’s returns.
Sharpe Ratio- It is defined as the risk premium per unit of standard deviation.
